The Veteran Frame©
Lead with calm when reality doesn’t cooperate
Written by Kledis Brahimi, Founder of DolceVita Hospitality · 18 pages
Every hotel day contains a few moments that test the person in charge. A system slows down at the worst time, a guest raises their voice, a colleague makes the same mistake again. None of this is rare. What changes from one leader to another is how much of it reaches them inside.
I wrote this book for anyone who leads people on a shift, whether you hold a title or simply find that others look to you when things get difficult. It comes from the advanced emotional leadership work of the DolceVita Method©, and it rests on one idea: you can prepare your mind for friction before the day begins, so that when friction arrives, it finds you ready.
The Veteran Frame© is that preparation. In the first part you will find the idea itself and the reasons it works. The second part puts it into fifteen short scenes from the front office, the restaurant and the manager's office, each with words you can use. The third and fourth parts give you a daily card and a pocket version, small enough to carry on shift.
Read it slowly, and try the exercises on a real day. The steadiness described here can be practised. Your team will feel it before you notice it yourself.
