Who we entrust data to

To run the site we use a few providers. They process data on our behalf, or as independent controllers for their own services (Stripe, Udemy and Meta):

  • Vercel Inc. (United States): hosts the site and produces the anonymous visit statistics.
  • Supabase Inc.: the database where we store requests sent through the forms.
  • Formspree Inc. (United States): receives contact form messages and forwards them to us.
  • Resend Inc. (United States): sends automatic emails, such as confirmations and free resources.
  • Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Ireland): handles payments.
  • Cal.com Inc. (United States): handles call bookings.
  • Udemy Inc. (United States): the platform where the masterclasses are followed, with its own terms and privacy notice.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Ireland): the Meta Pixel, only if you accept it.

We may disclose data to authorities when the law requires it.

Data outside the European Union

Some of these providers are based in, or have servers in, the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider takes part in it, or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

How long we keep it

  • Messages and requests: 24 months from our last exchange with you.
  • Free resources: 24 months from the request, or until you ask us to delete you.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Purchase data and invoices: 10 years, as Italian law requires (Art. 2220 of the Civil Code).
  • Meta Pixel: according to Meta’s rules; the _fbp cookie lasts 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive it in a readable format, or stop using it. If you gave us consent, you can withdraw it whenever you want, from that moment on. Write to info@dolcevitahospitality.com.

If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of the country where you live.

If you do not give us your data

Giving us your data is your choice. Without a name and an email, though, we cannot reply, send you a resource or complete a purchase.

Automated decisions

We make no automated decisions about people. If you accept marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel lets Meta show you our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
